Voluntary Recall Alert: RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches

If you have RITZ snacks in your pantry, this is an alert you don’t want to miss—especially if you or your child has a peanut allergy.

On July 8, 2025, Mondelēz Global LLC issued a voluntary recall of four popular RITZ snack products due to a dangerous labeling error. Some individually wrapped crackers may be mislabeled as the Cheese variety, but actually contain peanut butter—which could lead to life-threatening allergic reactions in those with peanut allergies.

Recalled Products:

  • 8-pack RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches

  • 20-pack RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches

  • 40-pack RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches

  • 20-pack RITZ Filled Cracker Sandwich Variety Pack

Products were sold nationwide in the U.S.

Action steps:

Do not consume any of the listed RITZ products.
